Guy_Fawkes Guy_Fawkes:
Face it, they are all flip floppers, they are doing it because at the moment it is the best thing for their parties.

I totally agree with that and I've said many times I wish there as a third party that I could vote for instead of Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum (Libs and Cons).

Mo, what I hate is the out and out hypocrisy that Conservative party supporters here display on a near daily basis.

When the Liberals appoint senators, accept floor crossers, make back room deals to stay in office with NDP, go back on election promises, it's evil and deceptive and outright arrogant.

But when Harpocrite does it, their comments are "Well that's what he has to do to do his job" or some other BS that ices over what months/years ago was a moral outrage.

That's my problem. For the blue kool-aid drinkers here, it's only an outrage when a Liberal or NDP MP does something morally questionable. When the shoes on the other foot, suddenly it's not so bad.

Boot. The Libs were in power for 13 years against a fragmented opposition and they got up to some serious corruption. Even still, the red kool-aid ream couldn't accept mustakes were made.
Harper's been in for almost 4 years and you guys started bitching on day one by blaming him for all the Chalk river problms that have been built up for decades. Give it a rest.

In 5 year, this government will get stuck in real scandals and then we'll bitch.Till then, don't expect us to cry about wafergate or the rest of the fabrictions.

Fabrications?

Yeah, he never once bitched about floor crossing, senate appointments, breaking election promises, or making back room deals with the Bloc/NDP to stay in office did he? You and I both know he did complain about each and every one of those issues (and others).

Seems to me you hold the Liberals to a far higher standard than your own party.

That's what makes it hypocritical. Level the playing field and then we'll talk.

Actually, the funny part is, I just saw a CPC ad about Iggy, the Bloc and Jack. None of whom are portrayed in a good light. An Harper wants to "work" with the Bloc and the NDP :? Not really the best ad to throw out there if that's his intent

I sense a lot of Liberals here are crying the tory blues. No election means so long Iggy, the knives will be coming out soon.

Apparently when another party votes to support another;'s bill in the house, it's now considered a coalition in the eyes of Liberals.

Like our friend, poquas.

Looks like the Liberals can't figure out the difference between cooperation and coalition. Does that mean the coalition between the Liberals and the Conservatives is now over since the Libs will no longer vote to back the government? How many times has that happened lately?

One more reason the opposition doesn't want to go to the polls.

$1:
A Toronto Star poll done by Angus Reid Strategies appears to back the Prime Minister's analysis.

In an online survey of 1,002 voters completed Sunday, the Conservatives had a seven-point lead over the Liberals, 36 per cent to 29 per cent, among committed voters. The New Democrats had the support of 17 per cent, the Bloc Québécois 10 per cent and the Green party 7 per cent.

The libs are still polling in Dion territory
