Apparently Europe's ruling far left are shaking in their closets. Leaders like the below are gaining popularity with every Islamic terrorist attack.

$1:
French film star Brigitte Bardot was today convicted of provoking discrimination and racial hatred for writing that Muslims are destroying France.

A Paris court also handed down a €15,000 ($11,920) fine against the former screen siren turned animal rights campaigner.

The irony is, all the left-tards have been coming out of the closet warning that what happened in Paris will result in more laws and less freedoms. And boy, were they ever right. They just didn't tell us it would be the leftists themselves curb stomping those freedoms.

David Cameron is a French judge? Good for him.
Then of course we have our own white-guilt Islamist apologist in Canada. Mental midgets like judge Lapkin for example. Funny how having anything but a rosy, heart-warming opinion of Islam is a crime these days, eh?
Oh sure, you can say you hate Liberals, you can say you hate Conservatives, you can say you hate Christians but holy shit, the moment you have something remotely unfavourable to say about Islam, the bleeding heart, pc shit-stains are ready to persecute and prosecute you for it.

No, David Cameron is the British PM who just proposed a law that would allow the state to monitor the content of all internet traffic. Not just the old meta data, but content as well. Seems to have caused a bit of a stir. since he's also the leader of the Conservative Party of Britain, hard to call him a leftard stomping on freedoms. Stomping on freedoms, yes. It's not a right/left issue.

I never said it was. I said it was ironic the number of lefties screaming about how we'll have fewer freedoms when it's been leftists that have been stomping on freedom of speech for a few years now. However, it's interesting to note that the Conservative party in Britain is actually very left-leaning. For example, they have far, far more in common with the US Democratic party than the Republicans when it comes to various policies. When it comes to ideas like the death penalty and nationalized health care, it actually runs further left than US Democrats, and even further left than Canadian Liberals when it comes to nationalized health care.
It's also important to remember that Britain's current govt is not a majority govt, it is a coalition govt, meaning Cameron doesn't have the ability to unilaterally enact new laws, especially after the local midterm beat-down the coalition govt took in 2012 when they lost 400 seats between them.

Funny I would say it is the US that is more right-leaning. Most European right-wing parties are closer to Democrat than Republican. That used to be true in Canada as well, under the old Progressive Conservatives.

We've kind of made a hard right over the last few years.

Yeah, we sure have.
As for the rest of what you said I guess one could interpret it that way. The point I was trying to make to andy was that in some cases, the British Conservatives are even more left-leaning than the US Democrats.

Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia (the home of the Religion of Peace) they demonstrate their views on women's rights in the middle of the street.

But both US Democrats and British Conservatives are on the 'right' of the political spectrum.

Andy's point is that the biggest call right now to restrict rights and freedoms is coming from the British Conservatives. And I too am flabbergasted that David Cameron thinks Britons would all be safer if they all just left their front doors unlocked and the keys in their cars.

Breaking in the news right now is that Belgium has killed three terrorists who engaged authorities in a gunfight - apparently happened in the past hour or two.

I won't dispute the moderation action but it is interesting to note that the actions of a Saudi religious court are inappropriate to post on CKA.
