I don't think he'll appoint a patsy. You can't run multiple billion dollar industries yourself. He's pretty good at getting qualified people to run the day to day operations of his companies. I think that's why he's leaving Twitter; because the people running his other companies have impressed upon him that his actions on Twitter are reflecting on his other businesses. The Qatari Wealth fund wants some investment income back. The problem he'll have is attracting qualified people to the cesspit Twitter has become.
