There could have been video footage of Kavanaugh refereeing a gang-rape of a twelve year old and it wouldn't matter because they just don't care. Pardon me but that's simply not true. There was discussion about what should or should not be in the ACA but the actual bill was drafted in secret and Senator Harry Reid (D) used a 'gut and amend' process to insert the language into a bill that had managed to pass committee and then sent it to the floor for a vote.
